Kitchen cabinets

Cabinets that fit your kitchen, your storage habits, and your design direction.

Custom and semi-custom kitchen cabinet installation for Puget Sound homeowners — from full replacements to selective refacing and new upper or lower runs. Designed around your layout, installed cleanly, and finished to match the rest of the space.

What we handle in a cabinet project.

From a complete cabinet replacement to targeted upgrades:

  • Full cabinet replacements — every box and door pulled and replaced with a layout designed for your household's actual storage needs.
  • Selective replacements — worn lower cabinets replaced while upper cabinets are retained, or vice versa, when the budget calls for a phased approach.
  • Storage redesigns — deep base cabinets converted to pull-out drawers, blind corners opened with lazy Susans or swing-out hardware, and wasted space put to work.
  • Cabinet extensions — adding an upper run, a pantry tower, or an island base where the existing layout left opportunity.
  • Hardware and finish alignment — pulls, hinges, and door styles brought into one coherent design direction across the kitchen.
  • Post-install finish work — toe kicks, crown moulding, filler strips, and transitions handled as part of the install, not left as a separate punch list.

Cabinet projects start with a free on-site consultation and a written proposal — layout drawings, material selections, and a firm timeline before work begins.

How it works

Our 3-step process.

STEP 01

Measure & design

On-site measurement and design consultation. We map out the existing layout, discuss what you'd keep or change, review material and finish options at multiple price tiers, and produce a written proposal with a layout drawing.

STEP 02

Order & schedule

Cabinets ordered to spec, delivery confirmed, and your install window locked in. We coordinate any adjacent trades (countertop templating, plumbing disconnects) so the sequence runs cleanly.

STEP 03

Install & finish

Existing cabinets removed, new cabinets installed level and square, hardware fitted, and all finish details — moulding, filler strips, toe kicks — completed before we leave. Your dedicated project manager is on-site through installation.

What sets us apart for cabinet work in the Puget Sound area.

Design that fits real kitchens

Puget Sound homes — craftsmen, mid-century ramblers, newer builds — each have quirks in their kitchen dimensions. We design around your actual space, not a showroom floor plan.

Install and finish in one scope

Cabinet install without the finish details done right creates its own punch list. We handle toe kicks, moulding, filler strips, and transitions as part of the install — one team, one proposal, no loose ends.

Clear timelines for lead-heavy trades

Cabinet lead times vary significantly by product line. We tell you the realistic timeline — including any lead time — in the written proposal before you commit.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

  • What's the difference between custom, semi-custom, and stock cabinets?

Stock cabinets come in fixed sizes and limit your layout flexibility. Semi-custom offers a wider range of sizes, finishes, and interior fittings — the right balance of flexibility and cost for most Puget Sound remodels. Full custom is built to exact dimensions and is the best choice when your kitchen has non-standard geometry or very specific design requirements. We'll walk you through the trade-offs at the consultation.

  • How long does a full cabinet replacement take?

From signed proposal to finished install, typically two to four weeks — depending on the product lead time and the kitchen's scope. Your written proposal gives a firm timeline by phase.

  • Can you replace just the lower cabinets and keep the uppers?

Yes. We do selective replacements regularly — lower-only, upper-only, or a single run that's worn beyond the rest. We'll advise honestly if a mismatch in height or depth would create a visible inconsistency.

  • Do you handle countertop templating and plumbing reconnects as part of the cabinet project?

Yes — we coordinate the countertop template visit and the plumbing disconnects and reconnects as part of the project sequence so you're not managing separate contractors across overlapping schedules.

  • Are you licensed to do this work in Washington?

Yes — we are fully licensed and insured in Washington. We're happy to share documentation before work starts.

  • What if I want to change the layout at the same time?

Cabinet replacements are a natural moment to rethink the layout. If the change involves plumbing relocations or structural changes, we scope and price that as part of the same project — one written proposal covering everything.
